TBFS

This last weekend, we had an exciting time. The children went with their Aunt and Grandpa, Gil's sister and dad, to Durango. It is about 4 hours away. They travelled their to see Thomas the Tank Engine. They had a good time. They road on Thomas and sand with a Banjo player. Well they were suppose to get back sometime Friday evening. I received a call from Margaret at about 8:15 PM telling me that Dad had been transported to the hospital in Montrose. He had a pain shoot through his face. He has a lot of different health issues.

The Lord was gracious and he is O.K. they admitted him and ran a couple of tests. On Saturday as we waited for the doctor to release him, we found out that he had drank something really cold and really fast about 5 minutes before this pain occurred. So Gil diagnosed him as having TBFS. The doctor laughed and agreed though she said her colleagues wouldn't go for it.

So what is TBFS you might ask? "Traumatic Brain Freeze Syndrome". It was an exciting evening and day.
