A soggy wet carpet...

Sorry it has been so long since I have blogged. It is amazing how fast time flies. All morning, I have been walking around on wet carpet. I found one little spot and then a few minutes later another spot. Till now it seems the whole floor is wet.

What caused such a wet floor you may ask? Was it a leaky pipe? A leaky swamp cooler? A spilled glass of water? The answer lies with the Three-year-old.

Mom: "Azariah, why is the floor all wet?"
Azariah: "Because we were motorcycle racing."
(Like that explains everything.)
Mom: "What do you mean motorcycle racing."
Azariah: "We were racing motorcycles on the train track."
Mom: "But why is the floor all wet?"
Azariah: "Because of the dust."
(Realize this is a hard plastic Geo-Trax train set.)
Mom: "I don't understand..."
Azariah: "Well mom, we had to put water on the track to keep the dust down."

Then the light bulb goes on in mom's head. Last Friday night, we went to the motocross motorcycle races. All the children loved it and Azariah, being the perceptive little boy he is, saw how they put water on the track to keep the dust down. So of course his motorcycle track needed the same things.

Now I get to walk around on a wet carpet all day. What is going to happen when we go to the shoe store this afternoon?
