Yesterday I was going to use a $100 gift card that is a debit card. I ended up not using it at the time so left it on the desk. Later on I sat down at my desk and there was the package, but no card. The package was ripped so I figured it was a child. The older two said they didn't move it. Then when Zeb was asked he said yes. But he says yes a lot. However, since Talitha couldn't have done it, he was the last option. When asked where he put it, he said "I dunno." Then Tirzah mentioned the couch so Zeb starts to say the couch. I looked and couldn't find it. After praying and asking the Lord for help in finding it, I look under the desk and see my paper shredder that also shreds credit cards. I look and sure enough there it was. However, he didn't find the correct hole to shred it, so it was still whole. I was very greatful to the Lord.
Then during milking time yesterday, Tirzah feed the baby goats and then I sent her out to move the kid pen. It is a small six panel chain link fence pen. Azariah, Zeb and Tirzah start to move it to where there is fresh grass. I can't see them from my milking position. As I milked it started to hail. The pieces were about the size of marbles. I was thinking, surely the children are inside by now and aren't in this storm. I got up and looked and all three were standing in the middle of the field ducking their heads waiting for the hail to stop. (Later that night, Azariah informs me that Daddy told him hail can kill people if it is big enough, but this hail wasn't that big...) Anyway, I went back to milking thinking that if it kept on surely my children would have the sense to get inside. The hail stopped before they received that sense so they started moving the pen again. Latter I hear crying, which isn't uncommon at my house. I ignored it while I finished up milking. When I looked out Tirzah was holding up the fence so Azariah could climb out. They had elongated the fence so that it fell over on them. Tirzah was face down and Azariah was face up. Zeb escaped. It was kind of funny hearing them tell the story.
Then today we were at some friends house. As we were getting ready to leave, I told Azariah to go potty so he wouldn't have to go at the Library. He said O.K. mommy. I turned around and there he was with his shorts around his ankles. I informed him that he had to go inside to go potty. I told him he could only go outside if we were at home or if he asked us first. He didn't understand totally, but he obeyed.
What a fun time with four children.
